VALIDATION

Evidence first: from controlled testing to real-world validation.

GUARA follows an incremental validation path intended to separate development evidence from independent evaluation and to preserve traceability between data, metrics and technical decisions.

Controlled technical testing

Laboratory and dataset-based work is useful for identifying failure modes, testing temporal behavior and verifying implementation consistency. It is not treated as a substitute for field evidence.

Embedded implementation

Running the system on actual Edge hardware exposes compute, timing, camera, lighting and reliability constraints that are not visible in desktop-only experiments.

External review

Academic and technical review can provide independent scrutiny of protocols, evidence and limitations. The goal is to make validation reproducible and auditable rather than relying only on internal demonstrations.

Field validation

Instrumented real-world testing is required to evaluate robustness under vibration, variable lighting, real driving and operational variability. Claims should remain proportional to the evidence actually collected.
