Beyond a reactive driver-monitoring event
Traditional driver-monitoring interfaces often focus on detecting a specific event. GUARA’s architecture is designed to add temporal context: how signals persist, recover, repeat or combine. This supports a more continuous view of driver state rather than relying only on isolated detections.
Professional transport context
Potential deployment contexts include passenger transport, freight, logistics, long-distance operations and fleets. The objective is not to replace existing vehicle safety systems, but to add a human-state observability layer that can complement operational safety processes.
Edge deployment
GUARA is being developed for multiple hardware profiles, including Android, Raspberry Pi-class embedded systems and higher-compute Edge AI platforms. This allows the architecture to be explored across different cost, compute and deployment requirements.
From aftermarket to integration
The near-term product path emphasizes aftermarket deployment in vehicles already operating. SDK/API and licensing paths can later support integration with fleet platforms and third-party systems. OEM integration remains a longer-term possibility subject to validation, homologation and manufacturer requirements.
