Perception
Computer vision and sensor inputs provide raw observations. The platform treats perception as one layer, allowing hardware and sensing approaches to evolve without coupling every downstream decision to one detector.
Observability and measurement
Measurements need context, quality and confidence. GUARA’s architecture emphasizes observability so downstream reasoning can distinguish strong evidence from uncertain, incomplete or degraded signals.
Temporal reasoning
Human state evolves over time. Temporal logic is used to reason about persistence, transitions, recovery and trajectories rather than treating every frame as an independent decision.
Adaptable compute
Different deployment profiles can prioritize portability, cost or compute headroom. GUARA therefore targets multiple Edge environments rather than defining the platform around a single device.
